Gerard Amaro is President of United Data Technologies, a leading technology enabler that helps clients in major industries evaluate, architect, secure, and manage technology on premise, in mobile and in the cloud. He co-founded the company in 1995 with CEO Henry Fleches. With more than 20 years at UDT’s helm, Gerard manages the company’s sales force, including sales strategy, revenue generation, marketing, training, and client development. He is passionate about exceeding customer expectations in all aspects of the business and building long-term client relationships.
Gerard received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University and serves on several advisory councils for leading technology companies including HP, Cisco and Intel. He is an active member of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
A devoted husband and father of two—Justin, a sophomore at FSU and Jenna, a freshman at Archbishop McCarthy—Gerard loves the outdoors and travel. His preferred hobby is Jiu Jitsu, which edifies not just the body, but mind and spirit as well.
