Jeffrey J. Engle is the Vice President of Federal for United Data Technologies (UDT), a technology enabler that helps clients in major industries evaluate, architect, secure and manage technology on premise, in mobile, and in the cloud. He is responsible for leading our Federal Business Unit, Government Solutions Practice area, and corporate Mentor-Protégé Program. Jeff brings to UDT a broad spectrum of experience in Risk Management, National Security and Business Process Optimization. He is responsible for the development and implementation of all government-related initiatives including overseeing cyber risk management and secure digital transformation programs.
Prior to joining UDT, Jeff served as Director of Program Development at Metabiota, Inc., where he spearheaded business development and managed international project portfolios. A veteran of the United States Army Special Operations Command, he is a former senior vice commander, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and current Advisory Council member for Mission United. In addition to the Purple Heart, Jeff has received two awards of the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, two awards of the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal for Valor, and others.
Jeff holds a master’s degree and a graduate certificate in Policy Analysis from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Married for two years, Jeff has two small children, Jocelyn and Jacob. He enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, scuba diving, and deep sea fishing.
