What’s your work-life philosophy? Anything worth doing, is worth doing well.
What makes UDT unique? Our work/family culture. A lot of companies say they have this, but UDT showed their true colors by providing protective masks to their employees during the COVID19 Pandemic at their own expense.
How does your role support the Account Manager team? It’s my job to provide support to our account managers and their clients, so that UDT can offer the best possible customer experience, and the account managers can spend as much time in front of our clients. Additionally, we work with the distributors and manufacturers to maximize UDT profit margins.
Customer experience is important to UDT. What is your best advice when interacting with customers? Take wondering out of the equation for our customers. Always be transparent and set expectations accordingly, so there are never any surprises.
What is the best professional advice you would give? Your reputation is one of the most important things you have. Honor and integrity go farther than money and leave a longer lasting impression.
People would be surprised if they knew you… I was adopted from Vietnam into an American family from Boston in 1974 and returned to Vietnam for the first time since birth in 2004. It’s my dream to bring my wife and daughter to Vietnam so they can see my heritage.
What do you enjoy doing in your time off? Spending time with my family, fishing, and barbecuing.
