UDT Technician Wins Top South Florida HDI Award

Doral, Fla. – Feb 8, 2016 – A network operations center technician at UDT, one of the nation’s fastest growing IT solutions companies,  has been named South Florida Desktop Support Technician of the Year for 2016.

Bryan Sanz received the award, presented by the South Florida Chapter of HDI, at a reunion of local practitioners, held Jan. 19.  The award is given annually to a technician who attains the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. As this year’s local winner, Sanz is now eligible to compete for technician of the year awards both regionally and globally.

“Bryan is a consummate professional who exemplifies UDT’s commitment to excellence and customer-centric business practices,” said R ichard Reynoso, UDT’s director of managed services.  “He stands among the best and brightest in the industry and we’re proud of his attainment of such a prestigious award.”

  1. Determine which systems were impacted and immediately isolate them. Take the network offline at the switch level or physically unplug the systems from the wired or wireless network.
  2. Immediately take backups offline to preserve them. Scan backups with anti-virus and malware tools to ensure they’re not infected
  3. Initiate an immediate password reset on affected user accounts with new passwords that are no less than 14 characters in length. Do this for Senior Management accounts as well.
