Stay on course with your goals, identify issues before they become problems, be ethical and treat people right (golden rule).  Make a difference every day and always keep in mind there is still so much to learn and accomplish.

How does your role play into the finance department?

My team is responsible for the credit approval process of new business partners and monitoring our receivables.  We are in the last part of the sales cycle and we strive to collect on balances within the payment terms establish. The goal is to collect and at the same time establish long-term relationship with our customers.

What technologies do you use in your job?

The new technology that has changed our lives:  Microsoft Teams!  This gives me an opportunity to have open discussions with my team and not lose out on their reactions. We also use Microsoft, Excel, MAS, Salesforce and Channel Online.

Working here for 7 years, how have you seen the finance department evolve?

The finance department has evolved tremendously I believe the leadership at hand gives us the guidance to show improvement daily.  The bar is set high but when things are done as a team, they are accomplished so much easier.

What is the best professional advice you would give?

My professional advice is simple and takes me through life both at a professional and personal level.  Teach what you know, learn from everyone as we all have something to offer, energize yourself every morning to be the best at what you do!

People would be surprised if they knew you…

If you know me, I have very little to surprise you with.  I am truly an open book!  I will offer one surprise; I climbed the Duns River Fall!

What do you enjoy doing in your time off?
