UDT started out of our founder’s parent’s home back in 1995. Two years later, we were hiring our first employee and secured our first contract with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, one the largest school districts in America.

Today, UDT is an industry leader in K-12 Education Technology, serving the largest school districts in America and hundreds of other innovative K-12 organizations that together represent almost 10% of the nation’s students.

We’ve expanded to state and local government and commercial organizations, bringing the same care and focus necessary to ensure kids have access to secure technology across cities, counties, state agencies, banks, healthcare providers, airlines, cruise lines, resorts, high-tech manufacturers, professional service organizations, private colleges, and public universities.

Our portfolio of products and services has positioned us as a technology solutions provider with the capabilities and capacity to plan, configure, implement, secure, and manage the end-to-end IT landscape from device to data center, from edge to the cloud across the world.

RECOMMENDED IMMEDIATE NEXT ACTIONS

  1. Determine which systems were impacted and immediately isolate them. Take the network offline at the switch level or physically unplug the systems from the wired or wireless network.
  2. Immediately take backups offline to preserve them. Scan backups with anti-virus and malware tools to ensure they’re not infected
  3. Initiate an immediate password reset on affected user accounts with new passwords that are no less than 14 characters in length. Do this for Senior Management accounts as well.
