What’s your work-life philosophy?
Like everyone else, I strive hard to balance work with other areas of life. My goal is always to find passion with my employment so that it doesn’t always feel like work. Thankfully, I do have passion with my employment at UDT. I am also passionate about my relationships outside of work, in particular with my three teenage children. I strive to be a strong influence in their lives as no one will care for them like their parents. So, I invest significantly in them. I also want to take care of myself by riding my bike, eating healthy, and doing the things that bring enjoyment such as spending time with friends, enjoying music and consuming information.

What do you like best about working at UDT?
I like the challenging opportunity to build, develop and lead a team of motivated and success-oriented individuals that will serve the needs of customers and help achieve the financial goals that we all have.

How do you best motivate your team of sales professionals?
I cast a vision for where we are going and how we are going to get there. I challenge the individuals with goals and metrics and help them find a path to success leveraging their strengths. I provide honest feedback but keep it positive. I work side-by-side with them in the trenches so they know I have skin in the game. They know that our success is shared and interdependent.

How are companies investing in technology in the Oklahoma area?
Companies in Oklahoma are rapidly considering the benefits of public cloud. They are leveraging the public cloud for DR, data retention and analytics, among other things.

How can Oklahoma-based companies better leverage technology to advance their mission?
Technology is a business enabler. Our goal is to align technology solutions to and potentially transform company business goals and initiatives. Every company is at a different stage with technology adoption. We work to identify the business goals and the technology gap that can accelerate those business goals and objectives. With that information, we can build a roadmap for success.

Like to dance, sing, and play guitar.

What do you enjoy doing in your time off?
I like to cycle, play tennis and spend time with family and friends.
