Always be an advocate for your client and strive for constant improvement.
Recently joining the UDT family, how would you describe the work environment?
I really like the work environment; everyone is always willing to jump in and help when they can. There is an exciting “startup” feeling that anyone can make an actual, tangible difference every day.
How is UDT’s managed security service unique?
First and foremost, our people. They are ridiculously smart and hold some very prestigious certifications. The culture here allows us to really accommodate our clients. Secondly, UDT’s technology stack is extremely powerful and flexible. When you have highly adaptive, smart people and combine them with technology that can keep up, you get an offering that goes beyond anything that is currently available in the market.
How does utilizing UDT’s managed security offering make client’s lives easier?
UDT’s managed security offering makes our client’s lives easier by simplifying security and providing peace of mind. I wouldn’t say we make our client lives easier, rather we make them faster and more focused on their business.
How does UDT’s managed security service support clients while cyber threats continue to evolve?
We are adaptive and follow a tried and tested framework to keep on the edge. As mentioned previously, we also leverage technology that keeps up. You really need both to accomplish this never-ending task.
What is the best professional advice you would give?
Mentorship. Not just having a mentor, but mentoring others. I have learned a lot in doing both.
