What’s your work-life philosophy?

I strive to get things done right the first time, every time. This mentality allows me to achieve my goals, as well as improve processes to get repetitive tasks done in a timely manner.

What do you like best about working at UDT?

I would have to say the people and team we have. We work well together, spending long hours around each other, and building strong bonds. Projects are more enjoyable when you share some laughs with friends and co-workers, especially during crucial times of product deployment.

What technology solutions do you use in your role?

We use automation scripts to make some of the more repetitive tasks easier and more efficient. It provides useful access to multiple programs at once with procedures that would otherwise be time-consuming.

How can clients better embrace imaging and etching technology?

The fact that our cutting-edge technology affords us the ability to provide much needed imaging and etching services. Through multiple workstations, quality staff, and thorough quality check inspections, we can execute services on thousands of units in a short amount of time, all while making sure our finished product always exceeds our clients’ expectations.

What is the next big idea for technology in the configuration center?

I believe 3D printing will be the next big idea – the ability to make parts on hand for most machines out of different materials. And not only parts, but a potentially limitless number of items that can be made just by leveraging creativity.

What technology needs keep you up at night?

Future innovations and technological improvements, how far we have advanced in the last 20 years and imagining what the future holds for upcoming generations.

What is the best professional advice you would give?

Never stop progressing. In any aspect of your life, there is always room for improvement. Once you settle for something, it cuts the spark of desire that drives us.

People would be surprised if they knew you…

I ran Cross Country track during my high school days and was in the top five of my school.
