What’s your work-life philosophy?
I enjoy serving people. I look at my co-workers, leaders, partners, charitable organizations, community, and ultimately, the ones who buy from UDT … all as customers. My email signature line reads “At Your Service”. The love for my family and my faith drives this philosophy.
What do you like best about working at UDT?
I truly love the UDT family culture and the wealth of talent across all roles and responsibilities.
How is UDT’s cloud offering unique and different?
UDT brings a personal touch to its cloud offerings. It’s difficult enough to fully understand what cloud is and how it can enable a business. UDT’s consultative approach to cloud conversations and engagements make us unique and valued.
How does utilizing the cloud make client’s lives easier?
Cloud is simply an enabling “utility” like water and electricity that offers a business (of all sizes, industries) access to services, products, and information on-demand, anytime, and from anywhere. You can turn these utility services on and off, based on need and convenience … that makes our lives easier!
How does UDT’s cloud offering support clients throughout the entire technology life-cycle?
As my colleague, Darryl Sicker, always says … “cloud is a journey, not a religion”. UDT is well-equipped to help and support clients regardless of where they are on that journey.
What is the best professional advice you would give?
Focus on what your company does best and partner with subject-matter experts for the rest.
People would be surprised if they knew you…
Have been married since almost high school (32 years in August 2017) and I have three beautiful, adult children: Doctor, I.T. Sales Professional, and Attorney.
What do you enjoy doing in your time off?
Travel with my family … specifically cruising the world. My wife and I recently cruised to Alaska for our wedding anniversary!
