What’s your work-life philosophy?
The philosophy of working hard and playing harder is one that I take to heart. I enjoy my work and enjoy success. But success in life, which is my family, is just as important (my Hispanic wife doesn’t let me forget it). I’m constantly making adjustments every day in an attempt to achieve and to maintain balance.
What do you like best about working at UDT?
UDT’s support from all areas is unique and a game changer. Everyone is accessible and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. There is close-knit and interpersonal communications between managers and employees that really shows their commitment to professional growth and future success.
In your region, how are companies investing in technology?
Customers are focusing on technologies that bring efficiency and convenience to their customers. There is a lot of movement in simplifying networks and operations by utilizing the Cloud and hyper-convergence, and securing/protecting their organizations and employees from cyber threats.
What motivates you as a sales professional?
Winning against my competition.
How can companies in your region better leverage technology to advance their mission?
I’m encouraging my customers to explore and to understand the benefits of connecting ecosystems (infrastructures, smartphones, vehicles, etc.) by utilizing IoT. The connecting of things opens vast opportunities to enhance their customer’s experience, contain costs, and create new revenue streams.
What is the best professional advice you would give?
Learn from the past and focus on the now. Always push your limits and the limits of your fellow workers. Rejoice on the good days and manage the bad days. Never give up.

Play guitar and have been for the past 31 years. I’ve been playing in clubs all over Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Virginia for the past 26 years.
What do you enjoy doing on your time off?
I enjoy spending time with my family, going to concerts, exploring Florida, and playing guitar.
