What’s your work-life philosophy?
I think Gary Keller said it best, “work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls– family, health, friends, integrity– are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered.”

What do you like best about working at UDT?
My co-workers, I’ve never worked with such a great group of people.

What are your three favorite new technology solutions?
This is a really tough question! I would say Microsoft’s Azure IAAS, EMS and container orchestration such as Kubernetes.

What do you think is the next big idea in technology?
AI and machine learning, nothing has the potential to change our future more so than artificial intelligence. Its going to be very interesting to see how the technology matures and affects our lives.

How does technology accelerate progress in your field?
IT is rapidly changing and at an ever-increasing pace! This requires us to continually study and train so that we can stay relevant. It really is what makes the field so interesting.

What is the best professional advice you would give?
Focus on the skills and experiences you are interested in and strive to attain your dream job. Its never out of reach, anything can be accomplished.

I play guitar and sing in a band, besides family its what I am most passionate about.
