zSpace is Bringing a New Reality to the Classroom and Schools are Loving it!

zSpace applications support teaching a wide range of learning objectives and bring the magic to different careers and industries.

According to Harvard GSE, student engagement is dropping each year because institutes focus on standardized modes of teaching. Ever notice how easily kids get distracted by technology? Imagine if we could leverage these devices for good.

Augmented Reality is helping students learn in a new way by offering better explanations of complex and abstract topics, elevated student engagement, accessible learning, and practical knowledge.

zSpace is putting this to work with a hardware and software solution, delivering a stunning interactive experience by integrating the latest Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology in an all-in-one computer or laptop. zSpace utilizes three sensory characteristics to create a natural and intuitive product: perception of depth, the ability to look around, and kinesthetic realism.

Recently, the zSpace bus visited both Manatee County Schools and the Miami-Dade School District where students, teachers, and administrators were given the opportunity to explore all zSpace has to offer. The students were actively engaged, and the staff was inspired.

That being said, this isn’t the first time zSpace has received positive feedback. Administrators are praising zSpace’s innovative technology:“

As a principal, I love to walk into a classroom and see rigorous activities that are standards-based and have high student engagement. zSpace hits all of those things.”

– Fred Barch, Principal, Boynton Beach Community High School

“Virtual reality and augmented reality was a way to really get kids excited, get families excited about coming to school to engage.”

– Michael Carbenia, Former Director of CTE, St. Lucie Public Schools

zSpace applications support teaching a wide range of learning objectives and bring the magic to different careers and industries. From learning genetics, to examining human body systems, to practicing welding, there’s something for everyone with zSpace.
