What’s your work-life philosophy?

Do what you love, but don’t let it consume you. Take time to completely unplug several times per week and enjoy the people around you.

Being new to UDT, how would you describe the UDT culture?

In a word, amazing. Everybody at UDT helps everybody else be successful. Whether it is resources, advice, procedural information or just somebody to collaborate with, everybody is in it together.

How are UDT’s solutions unique?

The intellectual property owned by UDT is staggering. It really took me by surprise to learn about the solutions UDT had to offer outside of standard VAR operations. I believe that UDT is unique in this as the solutions tend to do real-world good (Connected Campus).

What are the greatest opportunities for UDT in your region?

I think that my local region has been a bit apprehensive adopting public cloud. I believe with the expertise brought by our Microsoft/Azure team, customers can find the right fit for cloud in their environment and utilize it to help them be more successful.

What is the best professional advice you would give?

Never stop learning. Never stop growing. If you become stagnant, you will get left behind.

What do you enjoy doing in your time off?

I really enjoy playing and watching ice hockey (my favorite sport). I also enjoy the guilty pleasure of playing video games when I can. Last, but certainly not least, spending time with my wife and 3-year-old daughter.
