Meet Paula

Paula Euse is the VP of Marketing at UDT, a leading national provider of technology solutions and IT resiliency.

Her responsibilities include leading the creation and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives and demand generation programs for the company nationally. She works closely with the company’s leadership to execute go-to-market strategies, driving customer acquisition and overseeing marketing investments and results. She serves as a member at large for UDTBOLD and UDT’s Network of Women. Her previous roles at UDT included Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager.

Paula has a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University, an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a master’s degree from Rutgers University. She has a Product Marketer Master Certification in product marketing from the Pragmatic Institute. Paula serves as a board member for the Extraordinary Women Leading Change Conference and Advisory Committee Member for FIBA Bankers.

Meet Guillermo

Guillermo Benites is the Vice President of Financial Services at UDT. Guillermo is responsible for the creation and innovation of business solutions for the financial services sector as well as for leading business development for this important vertical. He leverages more than 25 years of experience in several areas, including banking, regulatory compliance, computer forensic services, IT security and risk management.

Prior to joining UDT, Guillermo enjoyed a distinguished career that included posts such as CEO of Axxis Solutions and COO of Enterprise Risk Management in addition to having served in various executive leadership positions at Caja Mediterráneo, Banco de Crédito del Perú, and Atlantic Security Bank of Miami.

Guillermo obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a board member of the South Florida Banking Institute (SFBI), the Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA), and the Center for Financial Training and Global Mentor of Apprentice Worldwide. Guillermo also serves as a board member of UDTBOLD, UDT’s diversity and inclusion initiative.

Meet Mariana

Mariana Lugaro is the Director of Sales Operations at UDT. Throughout her 16 year tenure at UDT, Mariana has served in various sales and operational roles.

In addition to sales forecasting, planning, and annual budgeting, Mariana manages the
Account Support team. This team supports all of UDT’s State, Local, and Education customers.
The Account Support team works in partnership with field sales to assist with all aspects of the sales process. Mariana’s contribution has been integral to UDT’s overall growth.

She is also a member of the UDT’s Women’s Advisory Board. Mariana holds the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Foundation Certification and served in the United States Army from 1989 to 2003.

Meet Mabelle

Mabelle Gonzalez, the Director of People Operations at UDT, has successfully served in critical
leadership and strategic roles within the company’s Human Resources Department for the past 15
years. Mabelle is noted for her development and implementation of the company’s unique policies and programs that promote employee development, employee engagement, and retention – and are
widely credited for the company’s continued growth and success.

Mabelle, who helped create the foundation of UDT’s HR department, advises the company’s leadership on staffing and recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compensation. Most recently, she helped lead the department’s transformation to become the “UDT People Operations Department,” which currently oversees all aspects of the employee experience at UDT.

Mabelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and SHRM-SCP certification.

Meet Fernando

Fernando Mejia is the Chief Information Officer at UDT and HAVRION. Fernando is responsible for implementing effective strategies that drive innovation and organizational growth and developing innovative solutions to manage risk and impact top and bottom-line performance. With over 25 years of experience, Fernando exhibits a proven track record of developing growth strategies and creating high-performance organizational cultures.

Prior to joining UDT, Fernando spent 10+ years at Independent Purchasing Cooperative in several roles including Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations and Director of Application Development. A digital business leader with expertise in leveraging technology, Fernando’s specialty is combining business acumen with analytical insight to develop leaders and maximize human capital potential.

Fernando obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Barry University. He went on to complete the High Potentials Leadership Program and Leading Change & Organizational Renewal Executive Education at Harvard Business School. Fernando also earned Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner certifications and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Fernando serves as a board member of UDTBOLD, UDT’s diversity and inclusion initiative.

Meet Melissa

Melissa Toledo is a Senior Account Manager at UDT. Prior to joining UDT, Melissa spent just under five years at Cbeyond, where she was a Territory Sales Manager and led a team of eight Account Executives and assisted the Vice President and General Manager in meeting major sales objectives. With nearly 15 years of sales experience, Melissa has earned the title of Top Producer in her field and is viewed as a true leader within UDT.

Melissa was born and raised outside of Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Studies and a minor in Communication Studies in May of 2007. She also holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)/College of Continuing Education and has completed extensive professional sales training in her career via the Sandler Sales Training methodology.

Melissa resides in Palmetto Bay, Florida with her husband and two young sons. Her most cherished time is anytime spent with loved ones. She enjoys travel, going to the movies, excellent cuisine, exercise / cross-fit, yoga, meditation, nutrition, reading, music, singing, fashion and great wine.

Meet Melissa

Melissa Beckham is the Senior Director of Finance at UDT. She is a certified public accountant with over 20 years of experience in the public accounting and private business sectors. Melissa is a strategic and decisive finance leader whose work experience includes financial operations management, process improvement, internal controls/SOX compliance, professional development and team building, auditing, M&A, consolidations, budgeting and forecasting, financial statement preparation and analysis, and SEC reporting.

Prior to joining UDT, Melissa spent 13 years at Continucare Corporation in several roles, including 10 years as Controller. Continucare Corporation was a publicly traded healthcare company that was acquired by Metropolitan Health Networks, Inc. in 2011 and then subsequently by Humana, Inc. in 2012. Prior to that, Melissa spent 3 years as an Audit Senior for Ernst & Young LLP.

Melissa holds a MS in Accounting from University of Virginia and a BS in International Finance and Marketing from University of Miami. She was born and raised in Miami, FL and is married with three children.

  1. Determine which systems were impacted and immediately isolate them. Take the network offline at the switch level or physically unplug the systems from the wired or wireless network.
  2. Immediately take backups offline to preserve them. Scan backups with anti-virus and malware tools to ensure they’re not infected
  3. Initiate an immediate password reset on affected user accounts with new passwords that are no less than 14 characters in length. Do this for Senior Management accounts as well.
